Single and Happy

So, as y'all should know by now I'm not single. I'm married and happy. I know I've already said a lot about my husband and I've posted a lot of pictures of our wedding, but one thing about the wedding that was SUPER fun and a trip I want to relive over and over is our honeymoon. So, let's make this post Honeymoon and Happy, shall we?

Our honeymoon was in Gatlinburg, TN. and this was the view from the house we stayed in. It was BEAUTIFUL and this picture doesn't do the view justice. The house sat at the tip top of a mountain and we were just thankful that it wasn't snowing yet in October because there's no way we would've been table to drive up and down.

There were so many things we got to do including the aquarium, Hatfield and McCoy show (which was amazing and the food...DELISH), we walked the Smoky Mountains, and visited the little shops downtown.

We also went to the moonshine distillery there, Ole Smoky Whiskey and Moonshine. Since it was in October it was only fitting to buy Pumpkin Pie Moonshine. It was dangerously good (only 40 proof) !!

My poor husband got food poisoning for the first couple days were there. After driving most of the day we didn't feel like driving all the way back down the mountain to get food and we hadn't gone to the grocery store yet to cook at the house. So, it was my great idea to go to the little hole in the wall convenience shop right there in the mountain 10 seconds away from the house.

Along with every day things like shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc., they also sold ready to eat burgers. We each had one, but something about his didn't sit right and the poor guy was sick for two days.

He was such a trooper. The second day he still tried to do stuff even though I know he didn't feel good yet.

Aside from that, this was one amazing week. We are going to try and make a trip back here for maybe our 5th anniversary. Hopefully we'll be able to go back sooner, but definitely an anniversary trip.

I can't wait to celebrate our anniversary this year! Happy 2 year, Oct. 21! <3
