Favorite Movie

"You will always remember this as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow"

Yes, I could quote that without even looking it up. Just ask my sister and she can tell you that we both can quote the entire movie of Pirates of the Caribbean. When I say quote the whole movie I mean word...for word.

But, can I say that it's my all time favorite movie?

Probably not, but I do LOVE it.

There are tooooo many amazing movies out there to pick one favorite. Nobody has ONE favorite movie and if you do you're crazy and congrats for being able to pick just one.

There are movies that are what I would call "quotable" because they're that good or that funny, and other movies that are just amazing...just because they are.

Besides the Pirates movies, two other amazing quotable movies are Just Friends and Accepted. I LOVE those movies so much. I die laughing every time I watch them.

Then there are those movies that make you cry like The Art of Racing in the Rain or Marley and Me. For me, it's all of the animal movies. I even cry in Seabiscuit...every time.

Other movies I love are:

  • The Lord of the Rings series - because who doesn't like Vigo Mortensen?

  • Harry Potter - I mean...it's Harry Potter.

  • Seabiscuit - Toby MaGuire and Gary Stevens and horses <3

  • Avatar - I can't be the only one who has imagined themselves as an avatar, am I right?

  • The Prestige - it's Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman. Enough said.

  • Forrest Gump - "life is like a box of chocolates"

  • Shaun of the Dead - two hilarious Brits fighting off the dead in a zombie movie spoof. That's an A+ in my book.

  • The Crazies - just my kind of horror. Not too scary. A family fighting the crazed in a post apocalyptic, rabies-like world

  • Stomp the Yard - because music and dancing/stomping.

  • The Greatest Showman - I mean that music!! <3<3

  • Free Willy - again with the animals and I LOVEEEE orcas.

  • She's the Man - another funny quotable movie that I could watch over and over.

  • Hocus Pocus - no explanation needed

  • Hidalgo - again...Vigo Mortensen and horses <3

And the list goes on...

Up Next: The Power of Music
