So as most people know, or probably by now everyone knows, my husband and I just bought our first house. It was such an exciting closing day and we've been so eager to get some things done there.

Yes, there's been some flaws along the way, but that's part of owning your first home, right?

I bought the wrong kind of paint for the living room, BUT! Lowe's was nice enough to let us actually return the gallon of semi gloss paint and get the right finish which was even cheaper!

So today is the day I'm going to start painting the living room and bedrooms. I've decided to use Benjamin Moore Gray Owl. It's so pretty! It's going to bright up the room like crazy!

Look how pretty that's going to be!!!

Anyways, let's get down the point of this post...'shut the front door'! xD

See what I did there?...

So we spent more time than needed yesterday changing the lock on the front door. The keys that came with the first knob we bought didn't work so my amazing stepdad went back to Lowe's for an even exchange and we got it all figured out. IT'S SO PRETTY!!! Sorry, I didn't get a picture of our actual door, but this is the knob we got.

I love the dark bronze! It's gorgeous and looks SO much better on the door already compared to the old, ugly gold handle that was there. We still just have to change the deadbolt.

SO! Our front door currently is white, but it's old, needs to be sanded and repainted.

It's that really pretty blue. Here's what my mom was thinking and I love the idea.

I love the yellow idea. It's super cute!

I'd love to hear some of your ideas! Here's a couple of mine...tell me what you think.

I would also like something like this coral, just not as dark, but a very pale version of this. It's gorgeous.

Or...

I also really like this color I'm just not sure how it would look with the blue color that the house is now.

We could also just leave it white.

What do y'all think?
