Does every mom go crazy about their babie's first birthday? Because I did as you could probably tell from the last post.

Sweet Hazel turned one on July 22nd. So, I know this post is a little late, but life's been a little crazy since then. I mean, when is it not, am I right?
Sadly, there's only two good pictures I can share from her birthday, both of which my friend took. There were so many people, I was just too busy hosting and taking are of Hazel to get any pics!

I'm pretty sure this was the only picture I took myself. She was so sleepy and NOT into her cake at alllll.

Hazel was SO tired during her celebration, but handled the day like a champ. She got so many fun toys and I can't wait to see her learn and grow with them over the coming months.
So, I feel like most parents would probably tell people to avoid musical toys for their babies, but I couldn't do that. Hazel LOVES music so much and I have a music background so when everyone asked me what to get her I told them anything music!
Well, now, all I hear all day are the same two or three songs that she knows how to get the toys to sing...
over...and over.
BUT! Watching her dance and be happy to these same two or three songs all throughout the day is priceless and brings joy to my happy momma heart.
Actually, funny story!...
So, the other day, my husband and I were watching a movie. I can't remember which one now, of course, but there was what was supposed to be a sad part with dramatic music. The actors were crying, the room was quiet, and then all of a sudden we hear...
"Time to SPARKLE!" from that exact little piano in those pictures.
I'm sure Katie and Galen can read that in the exact voice of the toy.
I was DYING! Dramatical movie officially over.
All in all, Hazel had an amazing birthday and I was so happy to see friends and family that I haven't seen in forever. It was a beautiful reunion and the perfect day for my Little Bit.
