Happy Birthday, Hazel!
Well...almost.
Sweet Hazel will be one on July 22nd and it's going to be such a fun day with out of town family and friends. Originally, I wasn't going to have a theme, but I started thinking about it more and I wasn't sure what I wanted to buy as far as decorations go. So I turned to Etsy, naturally, and went a little crazy. A lot of the things I saw were pink and gold and thought that would be such a cute idea so that's what I went with.
First, I found a cute cake topper that will be perfect for either Hazel's smash cake or the "adult" cake.

This topper is from the shop PaperWishesStudioByA
We also plan on setting up a backdrop for photos and I'm hoping we can get a cute picture of Hazel sitting next to the cake with this topper before she completely destroys it! A couple things that I found for the backdrop are a garland and balloons. The background will just be my mom's curtains because they're already a good color. It's going to be a simple backdrop, but still so pretty and perfect for my little babe. My sister is going to make cute signs with her calligraphy for people to hold. I think it'll be perfect!

The balloons are from the shop HullaballoonsParty

This item is from the shop CohassetPartySupply
I also saw a cute idea of a photo banner that features pictures from each month of Hazel's life from newborn to 12 months. I thought it'd be the cutest little decoration for people to admire.

This banner is from the shop Partyhooman
So, that's pretty much the decoration aspect of the party, but I couldn't stop there. I found a shop that sold the cutest party plates and such and had to get all the things!

Napkins, dinner and dessert plates, and a table cloth that all match. All from TackyNutPartyStore. I think they are going to be the cutest little touch to the party! We will be grilling out hamburgers and hotdogs (what party doesn't) by the pool which will be perfect for July in Florida! Hot, hot, hot!!!!
This is going to be such a fun party. I will get pictures featured with another post after the party to show how everything turned out! I didn't think I'd get so involved with a birthday party, but when it's your first babies first birthday...you have to go all out.
Right?
