The Only Person Telling You to Quit is Yourself...

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had a hard time sticking to a "diet" plan. For some people getting started is the easy part and for others it's the hard part. I'm definitely in that "others" group. I bought a Beachbody package back in May and I was SO excited. I bought the package with the portion cups and everything to go with 21 Day Fix. It was awesome. I did the first 21 days and lost a total of 7 pounds.
I was stoked!
I continued with another 21 days and lost another 5 or 6 pounds. Then...nothing. I lost ALL motivation. WHY?! Why is that?? My mom had even bought me more Shakeology, which is not cheap, and I got out of the habit of even drinking those. I stopped the 21 Day Fix workouts and completely stopped using the portion cups. They say three weeks breaks a habit, but it didn't for me.
It's now September and I'm sure I probably gained all the weight back that I lost. I've been too scared to step back on the scale. I just don't understand why I quit. I could think of every excuse in the book and say work is busy, or all of my free time is taken up by the new house, or I just want my sleep in the morning so I won't get up to workout, but that doesn't explain why I stopped. And...who doesn't love their sleep in the mornings? You just gotta do it!
I remember feeling SO happy and energetic and just overall better than I have felt in a long time. I want that again. So, what's stopping me? NOTHING. Nothing is stopping me but me. You're probably asking yourself why I'm posting this, but I need this. I need to see this post, and I hope it's inspiration for some of you out there as well. I will look back on this post as a reminder to not let myself give up. I had no reason to give up! I just did...
The meals for this plan are even amazing. I mean, look at that chicken! Autumn and her brother, Bobby, did an amazing job thinking of "fixed approved" recipes for this plan.
I just have to start back one. step. at. a time...

I do have to say one HUGE thank you to my coach, Kaitlin. You are such an amazing girl and such a great inspiration for so many people.
